Many of us "entered the story" and participated in Advent Conspiracy (Worship Fully, Spend Less, Give More, Love All) during our celebration services, in small groups and at home. For our Advent Conspiracy project, Life Journey partnered with the Ika Mission Water Project to build fresh water wells in Nigeria, Africa. Our church community gave generously! We received enough for a full fresh water well to be built in the community of Ojotu! Pictures below are from our well project last year. We will add photos from this new well as we get them.
Our K-5th grade ministry, Explorers, participated in Bite Back for the Advent Season. They raised enough money for 24 nets to help people be protected from Malaria. Watch a video about it here.
