What if church were “different?”
At Life Journey, it is… and we think that's a good thing! Our church is full of regular people, all in need of God's grace, supporting each other and “doing life” together. We understand that everyone is at a different point on their life journey. That's why our commitment as a church is to “help people - whatever their background - take their next step toward God.”
Our Sunday morning celebration services are casual and relevant. We use a format we call "church 2.0." Where church 1.0 is a more traditional format, church 2.0 is more interactive. We begin our services with music focusing on God. Then we transition to a more community-driven time. Instead of rows of chairs all facing forward, we sit at round tables and get to know each other. Each table discusses ice-breaker questions over coffee and donuts. Then, the teaching time is fueled by Biblical truth. We also share in weekly communion to celebrate who God is!
At Life Journey, we are a community and it shows. Nearly monthly, we take our faith on the town at our “Gone 4 Good” Sundays! On these Sundays we don’t just “have” church, we go out to “be” the church as we serve the community we live in. These are just a few of the reasons we call Life Journey home!!
